EAD Renewal - paper application sent to wrong service center by lawyer

Hi,
I have a pending I485 and am currently working on EAD which is valid till Sept 08. I live/work in MA and so my jurisdiction is Texas Service Center (where my 485 is pending; also according to new rules this where my renewal should be sent directly). But my lawyer sent the application to NSC - I realized this only after he sent me the FedEx tracking number.

What will happen now? Does the USCIS send back the application because its filed to wrong Service Center or they will forward it to correct Service Center. It will delay the whole thing (my work status is EAD without H1) - can I e-file to Texas now? or does it complicate things even more?

Please suggest and share any relevant experiences. Thanks.

No problem the USCIS will direct it to the right place
