Can someone tell me if there is a same day oath at Raleigh, NC district office and if not how often do they schedule oath ceremonies there? My friend has an interview coming up on July 15th.

Also I like to get Boston Biometrics office street address (physical address) where they schedule FP appointments for applicants.

Do you know what their exact PD is? Also, can you confirm that their actual interview is at Raleigh DO? That would be great news since it means that applicants from last summer are being transfered to the new DO. Thanks.

Thanks for the confirmation. At least know we know that they are transferring cases from last summer to the new DO.

As for same day oaths, my guess would be that the new DO does not offer same day oaths due to volume. Another guess is that oaths are held on Fridays, since the opening day oath was on a Friday.

I will keep u posted with my friend's interview on July 15th. You are hopefully close to getting your IL soon too. Another couple of months may be at the max.

Yes Bobsmyth, infact I was at my friend's place in Raleigh, NC when his interview letter arrived in the mail. It was Monday, May 12th. Again just to refresh your memory and recap things:

His PD: June 15th 2007
IL received: May 12th 2008
Interview Date: July 15th 2008 in Durham, NC.

Cool..thanks..so it looks like they send out IL for Raleigh around the first week of month. Hopefully by mid June I'll be seeing mine, but I won't hold my breath since the bulk of applications were filed in July 07 and my PD in July 27th.

Atleast you have some hope and something to look fwd to, don't u think so? I don't know about my situation man. On June 1st, in the next few days, it will be 2 months since our I-485 interview was descheduled. No word on that. I have made an appoinment to see Senator's secretary in person who deals with immigration issues. Don't know if I should see him, will that have any positive impact on our case or that could piss USCIS off and could delay things. On my last infopass inquiry on May 13th, I was told that I should probably wait another couple of months and by then if I don't see my IL in the mail then I should make another infopass apptt to see where things are, but as u know these ppl will tell u things just to get rid of ppl so that they don't get bothered....who knows.
Let me know if u have any suggestions. You guys are gr8.

FYI: I made Infopass and went to Durham DO today to verify if they do same day oaths. The lady I spoke with told me she was from New york and she does not know exact dates for oaths here. She said (she was not sure) they have oaths every Friday or every other Friday. Looking at my appointment date, she told me that they may shhedule me for the July 4th oath.

With a July 15 interview, I am sure that your friend will get into either July 18 or July 25.

At least, I can confirm that there is no same day oaths in Durham (at least at this moment).
