Hello everyone i'm new to this forum. this is my first time posting here so if i am doing anything wrong please tell me. I was married for 2.5 years 2003-2006 got my green card(10 years) in march 2005 and got divorced in december. I now remarried in december 2006 to canadian citizen. we were living in us but she needed to go back and forth so she doesn't loose her status and stay as at least as tourist in US until i became citizen so i could sponsor her. while we were coming back from canada (visit) customs gave her a paper that explains that she over stayed in US (withdrawal of application for admission/Consular notification) .so she coudn't come here. now i'm looking into bring her here somehow. my question is i had my green card for over 3 years but i was told that i couldn't apply for citizenship because i am now divorced and have to wait 5 years. or can i bring her here as a student ? can anyone please help me with this situation. thanks in advance.

you can not "bring" her as nothing immediately. she must qualify for a non-immigrant visa on her own terms, but having a spouse living in the USA does not help that application.

you will have to apply for citizenship before there is any "fast" solution available... and you can only apply after 5 years (since you divorced your previous husband).
