stoke interview coming up april 15

Can you post a link to your Feb2007? I mean make it easier you know...so a year ago you had your initial interview for I-485 and took another year?

I know how to find a person's posts. I don't want to search through dozens of posts when the OP knows when and where they posted the interview in the first place.

I looked and after a few minutes gave up.

my stoke interview is april 15 i hope i get ten year green card first interview was feb 2007 went bad

I read your case. It seemed last year you had a very strict IO. My IO told me that they grant ppl conditional GC because it gives time for the couple to build joint documents before they get the perm. GC. He said some ppl do not have enough evidences but it doesn't mean they do not have good marriage. It seems your IO give you a year of time to get more joint documents as evidence before the IO grants you the conditional/perm. GC. Do you have joint car title/insurance/loan, credit card, joint insurance/dental bills?

Good point Greencattle, they may just be giving you enough time to "settle in" and this may not be a stokes interview at all, and just another regular interview.

Either way, best of luck and keep us updated!

at my job i add my husband to my benefits life insurance dental and vision we took a lot of pictures we have lease utility bills and joint account do i miss anything else.different from the regular marriage paper, etc what you think am i getting 2 years greencard or 10years please reply

Oh it'll be a stokes.... just look at the date +1yr from initial interview.

The weird thing here is the range date between interviews. But I don't see that it was a bad interview.

Conditional green card is given if the marriage by the time of the interview is less than 2 years. And 10 yr if it's 2 year or older...not about how much evidence you have. If you are able to pass the interview, you would be lucky and should get a non-conditional green card.

It is normal that if you recently married, and apply right away to AOS you won't have that "much" evidence (like when you apply for I-751), your interview will come roughly in less than a year before your first anniversary...but you still are accountable and should have some or enough evidence that give an idea that you are having a share marital life.

no need to fret, gather all the documents u have, mostlly bills and joint stuff, taxes upto dtae wheather jointlly or seperate fillings and all the other stuff u submitted during the original interview. Finally pray and you will be okay.
