how many times can you have reentry travel document?

i got my second re entry travel document on july 2007, its valid until july 2009,

i will be appling for naturalization on may 2009, can i apply for RTD or third reentry document after the second expires on july 2009?

Yes you can apply for another RP. There is no limitation on how many times you can apply. You cannot reapply if you still have a valid one. I beleive the next will be your last application b/cos before that will expire your citizenship would have been approved.

first of all thanks for the advise about my last post here, I have done my interview and it went well,however I didnt show the IO my NP that has been renew I just gave her my RTD,no further questions asked from her.and now just wait for approval ( I hope it will be happen).
I have question about applying RP, you've said that you renew your NP, on the RP application it said that you need explanation if u renew your NP.
Did you mark "no" on that question even u renew your NP?
Will the IO know if u mark "No"?

about the RP application, write NO on the application,

the IO will never know it,

How about when you do your citizenship(since you wrote "No") do u still have to show your renew NP?
It's been little over 2 weeks now.... no further notice for my GC yet--but hopefully soon.

I sincerely suggest that you not lie on an immigration form. The consequences for doing this are extremely serious if you are caught.

I agree. Do not commit a federal crime. Lying on an immigration form is a federal felony.

RP application section Never asks if you renewed your NP. Only the section of the application for RTD asks for that.

iam plannibg to show them my NP during my citizenship interview,

i doubt they will ask me about why i renewed my passport, but if they ask

i will tell them i renewed it because some countries dont accept or recognize
travel documents, for example many countries in middle east, kuwait,dubai,
and other countries, i have to visit kuwait and dubai becuse i have many family members live there

WANT is correct RP application does not ask about NP RENEWAL

I actually renewed my NP as an Asylee and told CIS about it when I recently applied for a new RTD. The RTD was approved in less than 3 weeks. No questions asked. I renewed my NP because many European countries do not recognize RTD for visa issuance. CIS is fully aware of this situation and not a big deal.
