Question related to updating employer information

All,

I changed my employment two months ago but have not updated it with my pending n400 case.

Does this have a negative impact on my case or put me in the back of the line for background checks related to my case work?

I am a DC resident and my PD is 03/02/07.

I intend to call INS to get the information updated rightaway.

FYI, I changed 4 different jobs after submitting my N-400 application. As far as your job goes, that is just a formality that you write in the N-400 form. They are more concerned on how you obtained your GC and if it was employment based, they should probably know that specific employer's details. On the day of your interview, if the IO asks you about your current job, you can give him the update information to where you work, your job title bla bla. By the way, he never asked me about my most current job & I didn't even think it was necessary for me to bring that up. You just tell him what he asks for, that's all.
