- What would be acceptable reasons for an expedited travel document? For those who have applied and been approved in a short period, what were your reason?

- Can you file a I-131 online and pay with a credit card?

Question 1: Emergency travel needs (medical, family death, etc.)

Yes, you can file the I-131 online and pay with a credit card, but if you want to expedite your request you should not be filing your application on line.

valid reasons are family emergencies, wedding, job related travel. Proof will get you in 10 days.

..., wedding,.... Proof will get you in 10 days.

Wedding??? I dont think a "wedding" is a valid reason to expedite RTD.... (Unless is the applicant's wedding)... in a wedding of a relative there is no emergency or financial lost, and the lost of the flight tickets dont count as lost for this purposes

My sister had her expedited cuz wedding of our sister. Her RTD had 5 months and 27 days left but the embassy wanted "exact" 6 months left after the date of travel.

We included a letter from the embassy and the reason we are asking to expedite it.

Expedite can be of many reasons not just financial loss.

I've had my travel documents expedited for the purpose of studying abroad (3 times). It's always been the case that I needed the travel documents at the last minute, and I love USCIS for taking me seriously.
