RP received in 10 days but status not changed online

FIrst some history. My RP was suppose to expire Dec 20, 2009, however while on travel last december, the visa booklet came out. SO i couldn't use that travel document..so I came back to U.S and applied for a RP and wrote a letter asking to expedite processing.

My claim was that:
a) Its not my fault that visa booklet came out, If they could reattach it and send back, I was happy with it.

b)I need to travel for work every 2 months and I included a letter with the letterhead of where i work and asking for an expedited processing.

c)I included a self address USPS first class express envelope.

I was surpised to find the documetn in my mail box today. Exactly 10 days(including weekend) after i sent it. I cant believe it.

WEird thing is that the status of the application online still says pending.

I am glad I got it and its the new blue document. Amazing. I am excited as hell and so happy but confused as to why the status says still pending?

I would not worry about this.
 
That's great to hear! I applied to renew my RTD on March 23 of last last year and guess what, still no RTD in hand. Next time, I doing an expedited RP instead.

Want, did you have to repay the $305 processing fee being that it was a replacement? If possible and not an inconvenience can you or someone that has the new doc scan the cover so we see what it looks like?

Yes 305..i dont think they would do it for free..how I wish. Even though the crappy one before came apart...I dont have a flat-bed scanner and only one I have is the one that you feed into..I dont think I am gonna feed the passport into a scanner ;)
