My H1B petition was valid from 10/01/2004, but I arrived in US on 24/09/2005. So while calculating 6 years span of stay in US, which date will be considered ? Whether the period from 10/01/2004 to 24/09/2005 should be included while evaluating 6 years ?
After completing 6 years, in order to file H1 extension we need to have GC process started at least 365 days prior. Considering this fact GC process should be initiated before completing 5 years. In my case what is the latest date when GC process should be initiated so that I can file 7th year H1 extension ?
