Does anyone have any experience at immigartion court? My hearings will be in March 2008 and I don't know what will the judge ask me there and what do I need to prepare so that I can win.

I came into the USA with a K1 fiance'e visa and got married within 90 days. After 4 months, I applied for a green card but unfortunately the mail from USCIS for the interview was undeliverable due to post office's mistake. I was not at the interview so my application be denied. And they sent me to immigration court.

Please advise. I appreciate your time and help.

Hire a lawyer. Since you did abide by the primary condition for your K-1 visa, you should eventually be fine. The judge may ask your sposue and you to file a new I-130 and an I-145. That is what I think will happen.

Please advise. I appreciate your time and help.

Number one advice to get into an immigration court is to get a lawyer/attorney with you since they will know how to answer and all that...the procedure in general since you are clueless and just because of that you can get screw unnecessarily.

Get all your paperwork, your papers that states that you took your biometrics and all that, copies of everything...including proof that you did not move and if so, that you filed the AR11 in that case...and get a lawyer ASAP!

Thanks for your reply. I am going to get some advice from attorney first. The thing is attorney's fee is too high. He wanted $4000. But my husband then spoke to another attorney and he said that our case is easy and we don't really need to hire an attorney unless we lose, then we will need one.
