At wits end

I've read the uscis lawsuit thread, that was what made us decide to go through with contacting a lawyer. I would have done everything myself if I had the time. I have 3 kids, and just do not have the time, to do it myself. Plus, we were just more comfortable with having a lawyer do it.

I already sent a letter to the FBI pertaining to the FOIPA, we received a letter back stating they had no information on my husband. I'm going to call our lawyer today to see what is going on.

Sounds like a good idea. If you don't get the response you're looking for from your lawyer, seek a second opinion.

Sometimes the best solution is the simplest solution ;) If your husband friend's lawyer filed a 1447 suit and won, why don't you drop your current lawyer and go with your husband friend's lawyer?

My 2 cents.

If we can get most of our money back then we will definitely go with a different lawyer. We made the mistake of picking this lawyer out, because we had to pay 2500 total 500 a month. Been paid off for a while now.

Not worth throwing good money after bad money. Sometimes it is prudent to cut your losses and quit.
