For my wife and me, TSC received our applications on July 23rd, 2007.
Checks cashed on October 22nd, 2007.... Just about 3 months.
Received our receipts on November 2nd, 2007.
Notice Date: October 26th, 2007.
Received Date: July 23rd, 2007.
Priority Date: July 23rd, 2007.
The notices (for my wife and me) are a I-797C, and both of them indicate:
Does anyone know what could possibly be missing?
I sent in everything as specified in the N-400 instructions:
1) The photographs with A# written in pencil at the back.
2) The checks (which seem to have cleared and the notice seems to indicate the amounts were correct)
3) Copies of our Green cards (Front and back)
4) N-400 forms duly filled.
5) I also included attested copies of some traffic violations (4 violations for me, 2 for my wife). They were all minor (low fines, below $200 all paid and/or disposed) and I included copies of payment receipts and a court disposition in my favour of 1 of the violations, which I had contested. If I remember right, these were probably not required according to the instructions on the N-400 form, but I included them anyway, just because I had 4 violations in the last 5 years.
Other than that, our applications were employment based (So no proof of marriage required). Anyone know what else I could be missing which caused the "missing evidence" note?
Anyone else received a "missing evidence" note, who could shed some light?
Also, does anyone know how long the fingerprinting notice will now take, now that the checks have been cashed?
Also, how much lead time do they give for the fingerprinting appointment?
Thanks!
