2 yrs of postdoctoral experience in USA

My lawyer suggested that 60 citations would be the point where you should go for NIW. If you are below that you may want to wait. Supposedly it also depends heavily on your letters of recommendation, and whether you can demonstrate a link to the federal government (i.e. NIH funding or something like that).

My suggestion to you Kasina is to build your case yourself
I have not applied yet so you may think that this is an opinion from an unexperienced person but I believe that the best person to write this petition and the best one who knows about your work and who can stress on your positive things is you and not a lawyer.
