485 for kid is separated with parent?

Anyone is in the same condition?

My GC was approved on 9/6/07
My wife GC was approved on 10/2/2007

My daughter is still waiting for her approval, she is 13.5 years old now. If her approval is too late, maybe she has to go through Name Check next year.

We understand she needs to do FP, but no appiont notice so far.

Any experience and suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

I am monitoring several cases waiting for kid approval. But all of them got FP notice the same time when parent got approved.
In my case, even my wife's case was processed separatedly.

First of all, I think she may get her approval in couple of weeks.
What have you done so far in this regard:
> Have you called USCIS and talked to IO?
> Have you cantacted Congressman/Senator?
> Have you sent in a expedite request?

If not, do so.

Could you tell me what is Expedite Request? Is that should be made by my lawyer or myself?
We never called and talked with IO because of my poor English and the bad storyies around here.
We have constantly contacted with our Senator, who would thereafter feed back the most current status of our cases.

Wife & mine at NBC (interviewed in Newark, New Jersey).
Opened SRs for cases separation (2 Times) received responses "we actively processing case.....call within 60-90 days..."
Wrote to Ombudsman, waiting for response.
Called TSC, no use, nothing hasppened.
All pending. NC cleared for all (wife & children) mine is pending.

In my case after 1.5 months of our approval, we got kids approved (got welcome notice),then comes the biometrics, we did it and my son got his card, but my daughter's case nothing has happened. Went for Infopass, and IO told they cannot stamp passport with the approval letter and they won't (or don't want to) do it now a days.
So it is all a piece meal business.

I can see your anguish. But you have to make you heart to be active. I knew it is easy to say, but not sure for my self.
So far as I knew, for the name check delapy the only two ways can work are First lady (God bless her) and WOM. I believed you found out this already.

I have been contacting both senator’s and congressman’s office for a long time. Both offices are friendly and respond pretty quickly. But neither of them would do any pushing but inquiring. The most help I got from both offices, when our cases had been delayed more than one year, was the fact that we were stuck by the name check (before this point, I was only told by lawyer and CIS that my case was under routine check). When I asked them for help with the name check, both offices did not reply. It was then I had to write to first lady, and fortunately got reply from FBI three months latter telling me the name check was over.
