Please advice on this scenario. I got my GC on 06/01/2006. I moved to Illinois from Michigan on 09/01/2006. I am living at my present address from 09/22/2006. I missed to file AR11. Till now I did not file it. Can I file it now? Will there be any issues if I file AR11 now? What should I do? I know I did a mistake, Experts please advice what is the best thing to do?

I lived in the state of Texas from 1998 to 2005. I had filed 140 & 485 concurrently(gave my cousins address in Texas as my residence address) in September 2005 in TSC and then moved to New Jersey in December 2005 for job purposes. I did not update my address with USCIS. I finally got GC (mailed to my cousins address in Texas) in August 2007. Is there a need to update USCIS about my current adress in New Jersey now ? Does it really matter once somebody gets his GC in hand ?

------------------YES, file Form AR11 go to USCIS site and you can file online (keep the GC in hand you have to fill your DOB, A#, name, present address and past address)
Does it really matter once somebody gets his GC in hand ?
---------------YES, you need to file AR11, only US Citizens dont need to update and you are not US Citizen at this time
