wrong bday on 1-9 h1

hi every one
i am going for stamping in mexio
for my H1(OPT-F1) but my bday on 194 which is same as on the I-797 is wrong
can you tell me what can do .. or should i change it before i go
my attorney say its not required to change and they will give a ltter saying it was a typo .. can please advise

-is that mistake of USCIS or the Lawyer who filed H1 did mistake on the forms and wrote the wrong birth date on forms? ask the copy of I-129 form from lawyer and check if that has wrong info on it

FYI do you know that if H1 Visa stamp gets rejected in Mexico/Canada then you cant enter US from Canada or Mexico and will go directly to your home country then get visa stamp in your country and then enter. FYI if your DOB does not match with your date on Passport then any consulate can create problems or reject the visa stamp. I will get it corrected from USCIS then will go out for Visa stamping

better go to the lawyer who filed your H1 petition with USCIS. check the COPY of forms I-129 that lawyer submitted to USCIS(lawyer office HAS the Copy of forms), if you find that lawyer wrote your Birth date wrong on forms then it is mistake of that lawyer and he should get it corrected as he got the fee for H1 filing.
