Urgent! please Help for H4-H1

Hi,
My path is H1-H4-H1, current H4 with EAD working, find a new company to apply for H1, I used to work in H1 for 1 year.

when preparing documents for H4-H1,

Do I need to show pay stubs to USCIS?

I have two versions' suggestions, both from attornerys:
1. Not show pay stubs at all, because this is H4-H1.
2. need pay stubs--submit copy of my W2 and last 3 pay stubs with the previous H-1B employer plus copy of my EAD and last 3 pay stubs with EAD company

which option should I take?

It's very urgent, but I am so confused....., is there any experienced friend can help?

if you are working with EAD then you are NOT on H4 status and how you can file H4 to H1 COS?
