H1-b Petition Filed After Opt Expired

My OPT expired on August 10th and my employer filed a (non-profit) H1-B petition about 10 days later. My employer paid for premium processing. I have a grace period of 2 months (until Oct 10th, 2007) to stay in this country. My question is: Will USCIS consider my application even though it was submitted after my OPT expired (but within the grace period)? Or will it return the application saying I applied after the OPT expired?

Please suggest or share whatever you know!
 
Your H1 may get approved but yur status may not be extended. Yu may have to go out to stamp your visa before starting your work with yur sponser.

Your Green card process, during AOS this break will be questioned? Better prepare with your attorney. (You will not get grand fathered )
