How long is H1B visa stamp valid?

My H1B visa was approved back in Dec 2004 and since then I have changed 2 employers. The H1b approval notice for my current employer states that my H1B is valid till Feb 2010.

I have never had my visa stamped before and would like to find out how how my H1B stamping would be valid as I have an appointment at the Embassy in Vancouver next month. Would it be valid for the same length of my H1B approval (i.e. 2010) or for just the first 3 years since its initial approval date (i.e. Dec 2007)?

--------------if your latest H1 Transfer or H1 extension approval is valid till 2010 then you visa stamp should be till 2010

or for just the first 3 years since its initial approval date (i.e. Dec 2007)?

Date of first entry into US - Aug 2000 on F-1 visa for 4 yr bachelor degree
OPT Status - May 2004 - Dec 2004
Date of I-94 validity for Employer A: Dec 2004 - Dec 2007
Date of I-94 validity for Employer B: Jan 2006 - Jan 2009
Date of I-94 validity for current employer: April 2007 - Feb 2010

I've never had my H1B visa stamped on my passport before. Now, I have an appointment at the Vancouver embassy to have my visa stamped next month.

Once again, for how long would my H1B visa stamp be valid for? In most cases, I've heard it's stamped in 3 year increments.
