Laid off.. Company has re-offered the position

Hi Guys

I was laid off my company about 2 months back, but was in transition period with the same company since last 2 months. Now company has offered me the same position again as they relized that they have laid off too many people. At the same time I have got an offer from a new company ( Consulting not full time) and client has been also finalized. The money that I will be making will be the same in both cases. However if I join as permanent employee then I will loosing 3 months of severance package. I have a very old priority date ( Nov, 01 and RD Feb07). I am trying to figure out which option should I choose.

Any suggestions.

I would say....instead of consulting ....go for fulltime....man, the pay is same...who cares...fulltime is always better than consulting...U can always negotiate with the firm to pocket the 3 month of severance pay...or at least 2 months or so...
 
Got one offer - This time permanent

Hi Guys

I got one more offer (This time permanent). The new company is offering me joining bonus, almost same salary as old one. Their Immigration Lawyer studied my pedning labor certification along with new job offer and she told me that new job is same/similar to old job. She told me that she will extend my H1B status in addition to filling AC21 after I join the company (New Company is going to take care of all expenses). The new company is public company.

So in nut shell I am getting 3 month severance package from old company plus joining bonus, Stock option, same salary as of old company. In the old comapny I will have to continue with same job ( Positive point is that I like my boss and will continue same 485 application).

Just wondering is additional 30K worth invoking AC21 in this case? Can AC21 can impact processing time of my application? Any suggestions.
