On the instructions sent to me from the Embassy regarding the CP interview, they have given a couple of doctors from whom I can complete the medical exam. The instructions state though that the processing can take 1-2 weeks and only an authorized employee from the American Embassy will collect the medical reports. It also says the interview is held even if the medical report has not been received. In such an event does that mean the immigrant visa is NOT issued on the same day? How well in advance of my interview date should I be there to do the medical (I am in the US and have to go overseas to do the CP interview).
