I received my H1B "EAC"# on the 14th of April 2007. When I cheked for the status on the USCIS webstie on 18th of April 2007 it is saying that "We mailed you a notice requesting additional evidence". When I spoke to my consultant he saying that he didn't get any information about it. I will much appricate if some one help in the following

1) Who got the responsibilty to enquire about my case? (myself or my consultant)

2) In USCIS webstie it also saying that they this hold in suspese until they get further information or opportunity submit expires. What is the maximum no of days they can hold my case?

I am not sure what to do because when I am talking to my consultant he is saying that he did not received anything and I think I do not have any permissons to contact USCIS directly. Can some one help me please ?

Thanks

Any help??

On March 23, 2007, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence and/or information in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence and/or information requested. This case will be held in suspense until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the information and/or evidence requested, you will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something further from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service.
