Hi,

My employer have applied H1b for my wife. it is her first one. They have send out the package on March 30th. They have not received any further info after that. not even the receipt number.

so, my question is the random selection applies to package send on March 30th also? And how long it takes to receive the receipt number?

Package sent on 30th, it does not matter?. Do you have any proof that what date the USCIS received your packge.?

If USCIS received your package only on 4th? you know what will happen to yur application?

So you are saying if package is received after April 4th, USCIS will be doing the random selection? And all before the April 4th must be selected for the h1b processing? Please confirm.

No, what he is trying to say is that are you sure your applications were received by the end of the business on April 3rd? Because that was the last day they accepted applications such as yours which were subjected to the cap. You can make sure of this if you have a courier or USPS tracking number.

All applications received after April 3rd and subject to the cap were rejected.
