Can you share your experience and advice with Infopass appointment? After pending forever, I've made one for next Thursday at Federal Plaza. I hope it will be useful in some way and immigration officers know more than VSC representatives.

26 Federal Plaza, New York, NY. August, last year.
Complete waste of time for me.
Obesed afr-am lady told me: "Your case is in Vermont, so call them, we don't know anything about it"

I have no experience myself, but from stories I heard, if nothing new happened or you want to add something valiable, it is just long pending, do not go and cancel your appointment.
 
those "officiers" are nasty and cranky, always hold an attitude and behave like you are stupid... I have been to mount laurel twice, first time the lady told me what the f***, there are people waiting for 3 years, your case has only bee 1.5 year, why bother? Next time I went there, the same lady treated me like an idiot saying I should contact VSC for anything... total waste of time and gas.
 
Thank you guys for sharing and sparing me time and grievances.
Although I guessed Infopass is probably useless, I still hoped - you never know... But well, I think I'm going to cancel the appointment.

dont cancel,try your luck, maybe a good may answer your questions

Last time (JAN07), I went to Boston USCIS Office with "infopass", the freak guy at the counter was falling in sleeping and told me that my case was in VSC (nothing new) and that I have no visa number available (EB3 professional APR01 ROW). Very disapointed, I don`t wanna see this guys anymore. They are rude. :eek:
 
I want everyone to be realistic, there are thousands of people waiting for years, what if all those schedule Infopass to ask about their cases without anything new happened? If you are extending your H, Have EAD and AP forever, just wait and forget it till it come by itself or denied.
