Checked the status this morning on USCIS web site at at 9, nothing changed, figured I have to wait longer. Then surprisingly, I received the approval email at 10:10 that my case was approved today, and welcome notice was sent!

Thank you so much for members in the forum, it really prvides hopes and information to me in the past two years. I am glad I found this site.

Received GC in the mail today, way faster than I expected! It was backdated to March 9, 2006, Yeah!

Strange Approval

Here's my status..

Jan 15, 2006 - applied for GC
Jan 24, 2006 - receipt notice and request for medical
Feb 24, 2006 - recept of medical results
Feb 25, 2006 - appt. date for biometrics code 3
March 24, 2006 - biometrics completed
March 14, 2007 - notice that card was ordered

This does mean that my case was approved and Green Card was approved right? What else could it mean?

I think you are approved! Unless you have applied for a USCIS Credit Card

It can be a USCIS Credit Card with unlimited balance on it!))
