Hi Kilo. Happens the same as with any other asylee. In a year after approval a person is eligable to apply for adjustment of status. How was your trip?

Trip was not successful, I never maid all the way, but I'm back and had no problems with entering US.\
what I meant by I730 those persons are not in US there over my COP we just got an approval letter which says that all there paper was sent to NVC that’s all I know I just wonder if any one has an experience or knowledge how everything goes
it was a long process for my family but it is all behind now.
NVC transfers your case to US embassy in COP within days ( in my case it was not the embassy but IOM (international organization for migration: www.iom.int). Your family will be contacted by them for further processing. Some additional forms need to be filled out. Also there is a medical examination so make sure your family members have all medical records including shots.
And then the interview. Make sure you family knows what was in your 589. Even though my family was not involved in persecution they weres still asked a lot of questions about my case.
If everything goes well, they will prepare the immigration packet with all the necessary paperwork to travel to US.
In my case it took almost a year after USCIS approval letter and actual reunion. But we had some other issues too. So hopefully you guys should be done within 6 months period.

NVC will forward it to the U.S. embassy or consulate. Your family will then be interviewed.
This process can take a while.
I just got news it was forwarded a week or so ago I guess it's a good news.
