H4 to F1

Hi ,

I am on my H4 visa but i am planningto study here.I wanted to know if i change my visa from H4 to F1 do i hve to go back to India and get it stamped as F1 visa.I want to know this urgently coz only then i can take this action quickly.Looking forward to a quick response.

You can change your h4 to F1 without leaving US. If F1 approval comes with I 94 attached to it, you no need of visa stamping in your PP. You can stright away join the school.
