Congratulations about your case being created.
My attorney has not provided me the I-140 AD number. I rang NVC today to talk to an operator. I don\'t know if I missed something, but I went through the process several times but could never get an option to talk to an operator. The system always expected an entry for a number. Am I missing something here? I called the NVC on 603-334-0700. Would appreciate some information please.

Glad to hear all those case have been created!

I\'m so glad to see all those cases has been created lately. Sounds like NVC is working just fine:) I hope the rest of the process will go smooth as well. Please keep posting your updates, especially when you receive your P3! I will do the same when I find out about my case.
 
brb, best time for you to call NVC is morning 8.00 to 8.30 AM ET..

If you call at this time chances are there your call may directly go to operator. Second way is (I haven\'t tried this) when AVM asks to enter your 140 receipt number key in random 10 numbers &amp; press #, you may get message &quot;your case details not found.... if you like to speak to operator press 0&quot;. Then go ahead.

My case has been created?!

I just call the AVM and got a different message from before. It said &quot;Your case is current. You will be receiving the packet ... in 4 - 6 weeks.&quot;

I guess my case has been received and created, but not 100% sure.

Thanks for your tip WhiteRose. I rang NVC and entered a random I-140 number and the call was diverted to a lady operator. She was very helpful and found out my details from my last name. Did some identity checks and told me that my case was created on 4/5/02. She said details had been sent to Sydney Australia. I am happy to know that I am out of this new St. Louis-NVC loop which is effective 5/1 for some countries.

I submitted my labor at MN SESA on 11/1/01 and on 4/5/02 got a case number! Processing speeds are not bad at all.

Misty: Please enter my NVC case created date 4/5 and appropriate date for NVC RD. I will copy the same date to cptracker.com under nick name Sydney.

I\'m happy for you to hear that you don\'t have to go through St. Louis route. That also gives me a little hope. I will definately try to call them soon and see which my case will be routed to. Right now I\'m little afraid that they will hold on to my case till May just like they have done so when they came up with the same rule for India and few other countries.

Please let us know when you receive your P3! Do you think you can expect your interview to be scheduled sometime this summer?

Which is your consulate?
I don\'t know if case created means it is left to the back office to print out the packet 3 or if it means start processing. If it is the latter I could still be routed through the new NVC loop. When things changed for Indian consulates, from 1st January, NVC created 3 cases from 12/14/01 to 1/13/02. And then a flood of cases from 1/14 to 1/20. So I am presuming a case created means packet 3 is automatically printed as per &quot;current&quot; guidelines. I am not in a hurry at all. Sydney consulate gives interview dates for following month\'s 19th if request received by 10th of the month. Since I am not planning to go there till mid July I will be holding on to my packet 3 till end of next month. Being in the old system will give me that control, not the new process.

Thats not entirely true.. Check out cptracker.com The new regulations for India were announced on 12/5 Cases created upto Dec 7 were sent out via old process. Several cases were created from 12/10 thru mid of Jan. However, the NVC did not create Packet 3\'s for them. All Packet 3\'s were created in end of Jan with the new process.

You say that the NVC operator told you that your case has been forwarded to Sydney. Did he also tell you that your P3 has been generated ? In the old way, to the best of my belief, cases get forwarded when your P3 is generated. But it looks like you could be lucky and just sneak through the old process. Best of luck.

BRB.. Out of curiosity. You say you filed lc @ MN SESA ON 11/1/2001 The current SESA time for MN is 11/1/2001 as of today and DOL at chicago is is doing cases forwarded to them in 11/2001. How on earth did you get a LC from there in 2 months ?

21a. Person(s) named in 14 &amp; 19 who will accompany you to the United States now.

Do I have to include my daughter\'s name who is a US citizen (Born here in USA)?.
