If you hide the last three digits it won\'t help. There is nothing
wrong in giving out the DOT code. You can hide the last two digits
of your Case Number.

Try this send an e-mail to lcstatus05@doleta.gov and type the "Case your_case_number". An e-mail \'ll be sent to you. It \'ll tell you the description of your dot code.
 
Whats up with the DOT code?

What does DOT code do? I am a Programmer Analyst and my DOT code is 030.162-014? What does that tell? Can some one help me out?
 
DOT code = job description

DOT code tells what your job description is. Some DOT codes have a
tendency to get approved quickly. For example. Faculty members whereas
others wait!! Therefore, we ask the people to mention their
DOT codes when their labor approvals come through.

I did not know the significance of these numbers and I saw someone crossing out the last three. I thought it was significant.

Anyway, my DOT Code is 003.061-030. I am an Electronics Engineer and I guess my DOT Code would indicate that.

Is it possible to know how long such cases are pending for? Thanks for the help.

does RIR and Non RIR counts in DOL?

does RIR and Non RIR counts in DOL? or they just go by case number sequence? Because my friends case # 0540199X and RD is 10/31/2001 and its just not approved.This is just because he is non RIR or what?
