i applied last wednesday at the post office, with expediated fee and overnight mail both ways. was told it should take between a week to 2 weeks.

had my oath today at Hynnes Convention Ctr in Boston....abt 2200 took oath....got there at 8 am, seating took place till 12....swearing in and getting the naturalization certificate took abt 1 hr....so whole process abt 5 hrs....

ok, so how does it work to get a copy made of the certificate, and if you apply at the regional office with a 14 day reason of trip or visa apply, do they still take the certificate ??

when you apply for the passport at the post office, do they take your Naturalization Certificate with the application or do they hand it back to you once the information is verified.

when i tried to get an appt thru infopass, it gave quite a few dates and times i could choose from. I am sure it varies from Office to Office, regradless you should just take the earliest appt u can get, thru them or your own pick. And what you wrote is complete, all you can do at this stage...
