i sponsored my wife when i was a permanent resident, and we all know that can take forever, its been 2 years already.
i recently became a US Citizen, my qs is how can i speed up the process now.

had my oath today at Hynnes Convention Ctr in Boston....abt 2200 took oath....got there at 8 am, seating took place till 12....swearing in and getting the naturalization certificate took abt 1 hr....so whole process abt 5 hrs....
ok, so how does it work to get a copy made of the certificate, and if you apply at the regional office with a 14 day reason of trip or visa apply, do they still take the certificate ??
when you apply for the passport at the post office, do they take your Naturalization Certificate with the application or do they hand it back to you once the information is verified.
when i tried to get an appt thru infopass, it gave quite a few dates and times i could choose from. I am sure it varies from Office to Office, regradless you should just take the earliest appt u can get, thru them or your own pick.

i had a similar problem with my fingerprints, i filed my case last May in Boston and till Feburary this yr had not fingerprints notice, the Customer serivce kept on telling me to wait another 30 days each and every time i called, i even put in a written request.

just had my interview this morning at the Boston Office.
Got there at 8:30 for my 9 am interview. Did not have to wait too long as at 9 my name was called by the immigration officer. He took me outside his office and asked me to wait for 5 mins as he needs to make some updates on my file...
