in my case, my child ( five years ) had already visa, but it was expired, the consulate has refused the visa for five times for revalidation of the visa. Out of these five time four times my wife attended the consualte. The consulate throughly asked about everything. And asked the questions...

Hi, Once a person lands in USA on H1b how soon he has to report to work. can any one take three months period, then report to the employer that he is ready to work. (the reson for not joining work is health ) Please sugget

thanks Nkm but what explanation can be given, because consulate asked the W2 for 2002, i landed on 27th september, 2002. If i could explain about initial three months of my stay in US then my problem will be solved. thanks once again

Hey, Just wanted to share information, my H1b Extention/Amendment ( due to change in salary ) is apporved in regular processing. My reciept date is 02/02/2004. Texas is working fast now a days it seems all the best to you guys Prab
