Also, when they do the stamping, they also fill the form

I think the message from the info line can be ignored. I had the same message for several months. ( If I remember from Oct-Nov 2003) till the day it was approved on March 31, 2004.

Got our passports stamped this morning at San Jose INS.
Reached at 7:10 am, Got in quickly in the appointment line. Had to wait for 2 hours before our number was called out.
The person at the counter collected the passport, approval letter, photos, latest EAD/AP ; Filled out the finger...
For stamping, can I take my courtesy copy or should I wait for the original approval letter from my attorney ? Has any one used the courtesy copy ?

"This case has been approved. On March 31, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days ..blah blah blah"

Your case seems to be like my wife's case too.
Go to your doctor ; Either take the required shots or get a blood test to prove you are immune to whatever is on the list (varicella-mmr etc) and then get teh supplimental form for I-693 filled by the INS physician

Depends on what your RFE is about.
For me, my INS chest X-ray report said there is a scar that may have to be evaluated. BCIS wanted clearance on that.
So I took another X-ray from my regular Doctor, took the report that there was no tuberculosis and then gave this to the INS certified...

I'm almost there
The reply to my RFE received by BCIS on Dec 23
So almost 3 months.
But After 1 month after my RFE was received, they issued an RFE for my spouse. The reply to that was recived BCIS on March 11th. So I don't know if that resets the clock back to 0 :-(
