Travel (Vacation) to Bahamas on AP ?

If you have a valid AP, going back to the US shouldn't be a problem. Depending on your nationality, you may need a visa to get to the Bahamas.

    485 Rfe

If you have not worked this year at all and now you are asking your employer to generate paystubs, wouldn't that be considered fraudulent?

    485 Rfe

Submit your tax returns and form 1099s. Are you the primary applicant? I am not sure how to respond to the request for the last 6 months paystubs, if you don't have them.

    GC Holder Canada visit

Your friend will have to apply for a Canadian Visa well in advance. Search on the web for the Canadian Consulate in the US. I don't think they will issue a visa at the border. Does your friend have an H1B visa stamped on the passport?

    This is what I heard...

OK, something does not sound right in this statement: "If you are concurrent filler AND if your I-140/I-485 ND is earlier than the current processing dates..." The concurrent filing of I-140/I-485 was introduced in July 2002. Current processing date for VSC: I-485 is Feb 15, 2002. Most of...

    RFE - AC21 - Layoff < 180 days

They may not verify when you quit the company that sponsored you, but they could figure it out from the Employment Verification Letter from your current employer. For example the I-485 has RD/ND of Feb 2002. The EVL states that " Mr. xxxx has been with ABC company since Jun 2002"; here the CIS...

    RFE - AC21 - Layoff < 180 days

I found this on Murthy's web site: Aug 04, 2003 Memo from CIS http://www.murthy.com/news/UDportme.html One thing that was highlighted in the memo: The second paragraph is probably what concerns your lawyer. It looks like the memo does not really address the difference between 'getting...

APPROVED! GC012002 proves that 'Dengdeng theory' WORKS!

OK - just got TWO email from USCIS-CSSO. First, I didn't realize that it was from USCIS :D. I thought it was the regular SPAM email!!!! I-485 Rfe

If the CIS only asked for an employment letter, then just send the letter as soon as possible. If however they call you for an interview and want you to bring the last 2-3 months of paychecks, you need to be careful. If you can't show the paychecks, the CIS may question at the company's...

Important: Keep Dual Status at 485 stage

Re: Re: I think u r misstating. It is not clear from your story whether the I-485 was denied because the I-140 was revoked by the employer BEFORE it was even approved, or the I-485 was denied because the I-140 was revoked by the employer AFTER the I-140 was approved but the I-485 had been...
