Is my Permanent Residnent status safe after the denial of N-400 Application?

Tough case and I feel sorry for you. Doesn't seem like such a big deal (I've seen people getting citizenship after committing crimes that are much 'worse'), but unfortunately according to the US Constitution voting is one of the fundamental rights of being a US Citizen. See if you can get...

Also, make sure you don't miss any appointments (FP, IL)

I became a naturalized American 100 days ago, but why don't I feel any different?

I enjoyed using my US passport for the first time, being able to vote in 2 1/2 weeks, knowing that regardless what happens, I can stay in the States forever, knowing that I can seek consulate assistance when I'm abroad and to be able to say 'I am an American'!

Which passport to use after naturalization?

I'm Dutch so close enough :) I have used both my Dutch and American passports to enter The Netherlands without a problem. Note to everyone: from what I've heard: if you request consular assistance abroad but you didn't use your American passport to enter, you might be refused consular...

    Newark, NJ - N-400 Timeline

Haven't seen/heard of it after my oath or on this forum so I guess not. Mailing out the certificate is not a big deal IMO: the post office clerk takes care of all of that

    naturalization w/dui misdemeanor

It might be a bit idea to postpone your interview like you've done until your DUI has been resolved. You took a good step by getting a DUI lawyer and as other posters have said, try to get this over with as soon as possible; hopefully reduced to DWAI or even reckless driving. Do you mind...

    naturalization w/dui misdemeanor

I believe two DUIs enables deportation, so you're still good. Make sure you're being completely honest and disclose this arrest to the IO. As others have said, worse case scenario is that you have to wait 5 years. And not to preach but another DUI might get you deported...

US Citizenship Appl. with past "Petty Theft" conviction

well, I agree with most posters here that you need a good lawyer. Don't give up though: you have made a mistake (well, 3 actually: the original offense, not fighting the offense in court and not mentioning it on your N400), but I believe that it can be corrected if you have good legal advice...

Criminal record abroad and Naturalization Application

She did. She read my written explanation, looked at the conviction and asked me what i was exactly convicted off and what date it happened. That was it.

The forum has been a great help to me; both in reassurance and information. So this is the least I can do.

    Newark, NJ - N-400 Timeline

My interview was scheduled at 8:40AM, and I finally got called in at 10:30AM. At app 10:50 I walked out, having to wait until 1:30PM for the Oath ceremony. So I became a citizen at 1:50PM!!! Just a note: you go for your interview to the 13rd floor, then afterwards you have to go to the 15th...

"Have you ever been removed, excluded or deported from the United States?"

So I went to the interview today and I got approved, YAY! I meant to bring this up but the IO literally zoomed over the questions, skipping most of them. She only asked if I 'have deportation proceedings' against me and I was 'NO'... So I'm a happy camper!

"Have you ever been removed, excluded or deported from the United States?"

:) Just a quick update: I tried calling the consulate but their hours are 8-12. And this is GMT time.... So I have to get up early tomorrow.

"Have you ever been removed, excluded or deported from the United States?"

Thanks. I am calling the consulate tomorrow, but I don't have high hopes of any explanation from their end. My experiences in the past have been extremely positive with the 'real' consular officers, but extremely negative with the 'local' consulate personnel.
