I used the PDF "flash cards" from the USCIS website almost every day until my interview. After the initial few days they were memorised pretty well. I also asked a friend to ask me all 100 questions but not sequentially.
You'll see, it'll be easier than you think.
Update: Process completed !!!
It took just over 4 months, and the whole process was smooth and pleasant.
The Oath Ceremony (MILWAUKEE) was the only lengthly part, mainly just waiting around for everyone to arrive, register etc. Then waiting for the judge. It took 2 1/2 hours !! The ceremony...
Background Check
Hi Everyone,
As you can see from my signature I have just passed my interview.
My appointment was at 10am (Milwaukee) and I was called in a few minutes after 10.
10-15 minutes later I was given a letter of congratulations.
Everything was easy and simple, the officer...
Hi Everyone,
As you can see from my signature I have just passed my interview.
Am I to assume my background check was completed before I was scheduled for an interview?
Or do they give interviews even if background checks are pending?
I appreciate your help with this question.
Hish,
I don't know about CP, but with AOS it is not unusual to have a second set of fingerprints taken. The first ones may not be easily readable or other technical reason.
Just go to the Embassy and follow their directions.
I don't know of anyone being questioned so thoroughly about their relationship in a DV interview. Here's a link where they make suggestions of "evidence" for family based GC:

Good luck
Aos Eligibility
All that means is that they expect you to have been LEGAL.
Proof of valid I-94 is necessary, copy of which will be included in your AOS package.
No need to visit your local USCIS office for that, I only called them at the Customer Service Number.
To RUXY and new AOSers,
you may find the following link to my AOS experience useful:

Good luck everyone!
a. When you have your new address you can email KCC AND phone them as well or fax, it doesn't matter.
b. KCC does not have anything to do with AOS. When the time comes for you to apply for DV based AOS you will need to file at your local office (although the package itself will be posted to a...
1. If you have the entire NL scanned you could, for now:
2. Call KCC and ask them to send you the FORMS again, DS122 and DS230this way you can start the process. They won't be able to send you another "NL" but they will be able to send the forms and instructions if needed.
3. Continue to...
Hi Mihiranga,
A friend who did CP in London called the Embassy and asked them. In his case he didn't need to get one. So call the Embassy where you'll be doing your CP and ask them. This way you can't go wrong.
Good luck
Barbara
My AOS experience...
Hi HMZ!
I agree with you when you say USCIS officers often don't know much about DV processing.
For anyone still asking the famous question: When it comes to KCC my file was transferred to USCIS 6 weeks exactly after receiving it. I discovered that on one of my Infopasses and that was...
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!
If your number is high I would do CP. This does not mean you should do CP, it only means that's what I would do.
I am a successful 2006 winner also from Italy. I did AOS and although my number was current in October I actually received my GC at the end of...
AOS: Adjustment of Status. Used by some winners present in the US with a non-immigrant visa, who apply for an adjustment of their non-immigrant status to that of immigrant without having to leave the US.
