  • hi bro
my interview was successful at Tokyo.
I sometimes read from other people that they are given sealed yellow envelop after interview to give to the immigration at the port of entry.
Im sorry i was nt gicven that type of envelope after my interview. Were you give it or it was sent to you in your adress together with your visa?

    Oliseh
did you submit copies of documents plus original required to the embassy?
the embassy asked me to submit all the original required documents but forgot to keep copies of these documents. do you think they might give me trouble?
Hey bro how are you doing? My preparing for my interview on 7th. Have yu heard from Japanese Winner?I have been waiting for her interview experience since August 2nd.
yes i have received it but has not opened it. it came while i was in the US...Im going back to Japan on 7th and will be able to read it.
    Sure, boss!

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to thank you in person, also a chance to meet the master! Feel free to email me at doeremis@yahoo.com before you fly down here, so we could set a day for lunch or dinner!

Good luck on the job hunting!

If you really decide to move down here, in LA, we could be very good friends (hoping). My husband is not close with anyone here, I hope you could be his first.

Looking forward to seeing you in September!
    tmfl,
perfect advice, i will follow your instructions to the latter. I did call KCC yesterday and they have slotted me for 7th September in Tokyo. They told me to wait for my 2NL which I anticipate tp receive on 27th of this month. My medical is on 31st July then I will fly to US the same night.
Tmfl, I have already sent an email to them asking for the possible date of interview. I will ask call them again tonight and try and get interview date. I'm scared. I have to contact the ASAP. I got my police certificate from Osaka today. It is sealed in an envelop and the police told me not to open it and that it will be opened by the embassy. Again thats scres me. I know i have no any criminal record but this guy should have atleast told me that the cert is ok or not ok. Did you have similar situation with your police cert?
Sure, LA is the entertainment capital of the world! Weather is super nice, although it's hot during the day, but very cool at night!

Are you looking for a job? I'm sure it will be super easy to find one with your language skills and plenty of working experience. I think you might have hard time to find one because you are over qualified! Let me know if I can be any assistance!

    Take care yourself, Tmfl!
PS. I told Oliseh that you are the master, so if he has any difficult issue he should ask the Pro for advice!
I had nightmares with Vista before, it froze all the time, and was super slow,,,,,,,,,,my husband installed a Japanese version, and it got worse!

Thank GOD those days were over, I recently got 7 for my CIN class, and I love it so far!

My father's 70th birthday is coming in November, I will take your suggestion to buy Windows 7 for him!

By the way, I'm leaving back to Japan next week, do you want anything? Since your wife is living in LA now, I could meet her somewhere to pass whatever your request to her, it would be my pleasure!!!!!!
Hi Tmfl, I have not received the 2NL. I guess i may receive it by the end of this month. Tell me what time are the interviews held?
    tmfl
I have just been following your posts on visitors thread and realised that you did you CP in Tokyo. Please share your experience. I'm planning to do mine in TOkyo in September.
I don't know about your family, but my parents are blind for computers. Buying a computer for my mom would be an ideal, but I don't think she can handle the updates, I don't even know how to do it myself,,,,,,, You are right about I-Pad, it's the best choice for starters, I hope she likes it!

I was planning to give you a suggestion for fireworks in LA when you come down here, but I guess after seen the fireworks in DC, nothing will move you anymore,,,,,,,,,but if you happen to be here in LA on next 4th of July, you might want to check out the Queen Mary stay over program. The fireworks is Okay, going off right next to the ship, but unfortunately the music doesn't really go with it. However, I have to mention the best part is you can go directly back to your room right after the show, no trafic hassles!

Is your wife still working in LA? Are you moving down here by any chance?
Comic cafes are still exist? They were very popular when I was in university (Yamagata National University). I remember those days computers were quite expensive, and not everyone had the ability to buy one.

About the internet service, actually I bought an I-Pad for my mother's coming birthday (still few months away), so she agreed to add the internet service. I didn't mean to trick her to get what I want, but she fell right in.

By the way, my husband and I are planning to go to DC for the next July 4th. We watched the fireworks on TV, that was truly spectacular. I am sure you had a good time, didn't you?
You are a such humble guy!

I was surprised when I first found your posts in this forum, I didn't expect to find any Japanese with such high advance English level. I've been here for 9 years, and I wish if I had even two third of your level , I would be happy.

Have a wonderful July 4th in DC with your lovely wife! Hope to chat with you soon!
    Thanks for the suggestion!
I have my father flied to China to get some kind of documents, anything if he could. China is a very unique country, everything you do, you need a connection, but unfortunately that is something we don't have. I will leave it to God's hands,,,,,,,

Your wife is working in LA, and you are traveling around the country for business? So~~~, you guys only see each other once a while,,,,,,,,,,Tough Love,,,,,,,,

Do you mind if I ask you how long are you been in the US? Your English sounds like your were born here, but obviously not, otherwise you wouldn't have to apply for the DV.:p
I've print out the page in case that I need to argue with them, I hope I don't have to go that far,,,,,,

When are you coming down to LA? It has only few days left until July 4th. ;)
