  • Hi Oliseh, in nade wuod Luo. i hope all is well with u over there.I'm doing fine here by God's will. do have a nice weekend.
Hello Guy, I really need your help to be able to handle my visa situation, I need some advice from you guy. Thanks for your concern in my matter, any advice of how I can get a visa to US is highly welcome.
Oliseh, how are you doing today, I saw your name I believe your a Nigerian and you sound like African, I will like to know about you, Please don't be upset with me, I'm just new here, I was thinking of Applying for US Visa.
    Hi Oliseh, Congratulations!!
Do not worry about the yellow sealed envelope. They will send it to you with your passport having immigrant visa on it. You made it!!
Yes, original and a photocopy of each document, except undergrad, grad degrees (only photocopies).
I don't think you have problem as long as you turn in originals.
They take originals and returned photocopies to me after everything is done.
    Good luck!!
Hello Olise jappaniess winner she is now in the US, and she make it and toke the visa. hope we both do the same :)
Sounds great!! In case you don't receive 2nd NL by the end of this month, Email KCC again and ask them to send NL via Email.
Hi Oliseh, I understand how much you are getting nervous, actually you need to be careful and cautious about everything, but take it easy!! KCC will end up giving all visa numbers to DV2010 applicants soon, perhaps in a couple of days. First of all, please do your very best to reach a person in KCC until you have confidence that KCC would give your interview date. Second, don't worry about Japanese police cert. All of Japanese police cert are sealed and do not open it. An embassy officer will open it at your interview. From what I read in this forum, police cert from other countries is sometimes not sealed and in this case you can open it to make sure that it is truly yours. Same thing to medical exam, do not open it.
    Oliseh,
I would suggest to contact KCC (call KCC again and again if possible) and tell them your willingness of CP processing and get interview date somehow, as many "current" applicants do, otherwise I am afraid that they might forget to assign visa number to your case. As for VISA interviews at US Embassy Japan, Tue-Fri are for non-immigrant visa interview and some of immigrant visa, and Monday is the day for only immigrant visa including DV category. KCC will assign first Monday of each month for DV category visa interview, such as September 6th 8:30AM.
Why you have to stay in the clinic for a whole day?

I was told that the exam only takes for couple of hours (the most). Check back with them, or maybe you can come to TOKYO, and we can do it together?!
