arrived today - no more INS till 2014 !!!!! Wow !! - well maybe not - hubby will probably go for citizenship - I have EC passport and no real motivation to change - so its 2014 for me

messaged changed today 02/10 - to card sent.

on line message changed to card ordered - 3 weeks after passport stamping . Was beginning to think we were one of the unlucky ones would spend the next 10 years doing annual passport stamping . Hope card will follow.

wac 02 068 - I sympathise - we only just got ours - also more than two years of waiting -we're wac 02 061 - so actually only a few days apart in terms of original application - I agree stamping is nothing compared to that agonizing wait - but we did have to wait with two kids under 5 for about 4...

of course - that's another 120 dollars in the bcis coffers !!

sorry - can't answer your question - but I'll be in the same boat in April so I am wondering - how long have you been waiting for plastic card - I was hoping mine would be here by then and have heard some people on this forum got them in 1-2 weeks after stamping.

My internet message still says " case approved on ......., - will the status on internet be changed to card sent or something or will they just arrive in the mail one day. We did passport stamping on 1/14/04 thanks lindaMac

100 % sure - he even had to do it a second time because when the officer told him to lift his finger he didn't do it right away and the print smudged. I would appreciate the info if it is illegal - though I am not sure what exactly I could do with it - sue BCIS ??

we had to take our 5 year old with - his approval notice specified that he had to be there complete with 2 photos - they took his fingerprints too.

I agree with you guys - none of it is fair - and most people on this website are lucky in that their sponsoring companys paid for the legal fees, h1bs etc - we've paid for everything from h1b's to photos ( a zillion times) to I-140 medicals which were really expensive , chest x rays , some more...

I think the letter stated the photos had to have been taken in the past 30 days - if you haven't changed much I suppose you could use old ones - but to be honest - when you've waited 4 years for this (in our case) and spent nearly $ 15 000 out of pocket on immigration lawyers and INS fees ...
