As for my (and my wife's) case, the only exception was Chickenpox in that clinic. Oral statement of Chickenpox history worked. I told them "I got infected with Chickenpox when I was X years old" and the physician allowed no additional vaccine.
At a designated clinic, they will do 1) X-ray 2)Syphilis Serology Test (HIV test is not required after Jan 2010), 3) physical exam 4)vaccination.
In some clinics, they would say they need to measure antibody titer before decision of vaccination (for which they don't count on history/record), but it takes more than a few days. I chose a clinic where I am not asked to take this test.
I hope this information helps and also hope you get actual 2nd NL very soon.

Do you keep immunization record when you got injected ? List of vaccination, date, place and physician's name, signature.
I remember that they won't count on injection done in Japanese clinics/hospitals, but immunization done in USA could count, depending on the physician/clinic you visit.
I wanted to take some vaccination in US before my interview, but I didn't have time and eventually decided to get injected with required vaccines at Tokyo British Clinic.
Just in case my memory is not accurate, please call a clinic you want to visit and ask them directly before making an appointment. (continued)

I make search and I found that in Riyadh ( the place I select to make my interview) I found three experience for DV winner make interview in the same embassy and all of them make it on Mondays but different Mondays of the month.. so I guess mine will be on Monday also.... so if you have a look on Sept you will found out that I have those chances ( 6-Sept and 13_Sept and 20 Sept and 27 Sept)
so I wish it will be on the 6th and I am afraid to be on 27 th

Are you staying in US now? If so, I would suggest to decide which clinic you would go for medical exam and make an appointment before purchasing flight ticket for going back to Japan. When you call a clinic they will tell you how many days will be taken in your case. It makes your trip plan easier. If only a few days are allowed before the date of your interview (like me), I would recommend Tokyo British Clinic, faster than other facilities on the list, as far as I know.

I hope your CN will be current very soon and you will have a successful interview!

Q3. You don't have to verbally mention, but it might be better to include official documents from US court or police or any with other documents at the interview. I think the applicant needs to express he/she is honest and good citizen who follows Law.

Q1. Nobody knows at this point, because we don't know this year's "demand" and "success" rate. However, IMHO every year DOS would determine the number of winners in each area so that all of "potentially qualified" applicants could get a chance of interview eventually. That's why all CN become current in Aug-Sep recently with some exception in the past.

Q2. I think Birth cert issued by Japan is enough. It might be better if you could obtain supportive documents from China saying "your birth cert cannot be issued because...." or something like that. This document can support the fact that you did your best obtaining birth cert. BTW if you were born in mainland China, is your eligibility for DV program OK?

Hello sister yes I contact kcc by emails several times, and alwasy the same answer that wait your number to be current, I am full hope and optimistc about august, and yes I think we will made it, any way also check the visa bulletin after 10 days from now because it will be publish at www.state.gov, and by the way make sure all your documents are prepaired from now, because you know we are in the end of the year and we don't have much time so prepair every thing sister from now sister, and I will let you know if I have news about asia cut off numbers, good luck sister, I am Firas from Palestine :)
