I applied for an I-130 for my wife and received a receipt on March 23rd, 2010. After the receipt we recieved no response. I called the USCIS many many many times, only to get their response, "sir it is still in the processing period of 5 months." I cant even get transfered to the second level...
On the form I130 under section c part 17 "List husband/wife and all children of your relatives." My fiancé has never been married before so does that section become "N/A" or do I include myself in that section once we get married?
Now, to provide additional proof of a bona fide marriage...

Why would any of this matter once you apply for an adjustment of status? Why does she need to stay on a F1, when an I485 was filed (I hope)? Confused???
I would do the I130 alone because I realize how much work is involved with doing the K3. Too much paper work, too much money, and more chances I give the IOs to ask questions.
Thanks. I got an estimate for the I 130 application from the USCIS website. It is taking them 5 months to process and the K3 visa is also taking 5 months. I will do the I130 only, less money, less paper work, and sametime. Thanks again.
I am confused on how to apply for my spouse on a K3 visa? I know that I need to file an I130 and then send the "receipt" of the I130 along with the I129F application for a K3 visa. After she enters the US with a K3 visa, do I need to file an I485? Any other application I would need to file...
