Your case information is incomplete within Case Status Online

Hi
My Wife's online case status reads :

Your case information is incomplete within Case Status Online please call 1800......

I called the 800 number but the lady i spoke with could not give a correct answer except that the case may have bene transferred from NBC to Local Office hence no information is available.

Any Idea what " Your case information is incomplete within Case Status Online " means ???

It means the online case status system is unreliable and doesn't provide useful information. It' s best to speak with an IO to get any updates about your case.
 
My experience with this is that your wife will get interview letter soon (if it is Citizenship application)...you can add that number in to your portifolio now and the last update date is the mailing date of the interview letter (may be a day later)...this is what I have noticed with my case and have read along those lines with Citizenship applications...

I agree, the letter is probably on the way.
 
Recd Interview letter

Hi Guys

My wife reced her interview letter today

Los Angeles is moving quite fast :

Filing Date : April 3 ,2009
Finger Print : April 20 Th
Interview letter Recd : May 14th
Interview date : July 15th

Did your status message finally change? How long was it like that? My status is in similar shape. The funny thing is that I haven't done my fingerprints. However, I did do fingerprints for an I-131 on April 3rd. I wonder if they used those same prints.

Has anyone here heard of the USCIS using biometrics taken for other applications (such as for the I-131) in an N-400 application?

Any insight is appreciated.

Yes, I've heard of them using recent fingerprints (rarely) on other forums. :D
