Yet to Recieve a Receipt Number for H1b

Hi All: I applied for my H1-b on June 20th and got a confirmation from the postoffice that my package was delivered,it has been more than a month now and i did not recieve my reciept number from INS yet, i have applied for normal processing not the premium one...is it normal that it it will take this long to get my reciept number....Can i call someone in INS to ask about my Application...what can i do? Please Advise.I am on my OPT now and it expires december 2003.

hi what you did? why did'nt not apply with premium process.It was ony matter of thousand doller now go to sleep for at least six months.
