    redo I140 approved on 10/26/2000..
    Waiting for I485 approval....

When did you get the RFE? Was it before the new bill was enacted or after that? And also, has your I-485 been pending for over 180 days? I\'m just curious whether INS is still asking for I-140 redos given the I-140 portability provisions under the new law.

I got second RFE ( for redo I140 due to CO. name change) after 2 weeks of submitting response to 1st RFE.
Usually mastech guys have been getting REDo of I-140 only after getting 1st RFE. In other words if u dont get RFE u dont get REDO of I140.
Vijay My gut feeling u have got REdo of I-140 or else u should have got approval by now. check automated voice system to find out ur status, the number is 802-527-4913.
I have heard many ppl getting I-140 redo inspite of the new law.
