"Yes" or "no" to Q21: Have you ever been in jail or prison?

The court documents didn't mention that I was in jail for that night. But the police report said that I was transported to the county jail. I didn't show the police report on my Green Card interview and the IO didn't ask for it either. But not sure whether the police report will come up in the FBI background check, if so, they might have it in my file too.

Even for N400, you do not need to present police report even the yellow letter and doc check list say bing court document AND police report. It is possible the IO still ask for police repport
and it is unliekly. Of course in your case if you want to how one day in jail is pre-trial detention NOT jail time as part of sentencing/punishment, then you can offer police report
even it is not asked for. It is just up to you. Either way I don't think it matters

You are lucky to ask before you file, I'm in the problem already of saying No for that question (that was ignorant of me) , although i was arrested two times for Domistic battery, but my lawyer told me not to mention them to anyone since they are dismissed (he is not an immigration lawyer but the lawyer who defended me in my domistic violnce case), and my interview went well but when the IO checked my file he found the paper i presnted in my GC interview admitting that i was arrested and the only reason i put no in my form that i have been told not to mention it by my lawyer, they called me for a second interview and asked to bring the dismissal for the two cases....i brought them and had a long interview then the IO told me if he decide to deny my case i have to stay 5 more years before i apply for USC again, I tried to convince him that was a mistake with no bad intentions because i know they know about the arrest, and he told me to wait for the decision in the mail.

Does anyone think they will deny my application? and can i appeal the decision?
Thank you

What's done is done. Just hope that you made an adequate impression on the IO and hope for the best. There's no point worrying about it now as it isn't going to change anything.
You can always appeal but I think you have a better chance of getting approved than a denial for lying to the IO being overturned on appeal.
