I noticed that LA is working very fast these days. Good Luck :).

Thanks! The letter came from the National Benefit Center at Lee's Summit, MO. Do you think every DO has seperate people and/or processing schedule over there?

We wish you luck for all of you.

I got mine yesterday too for April 17th :D :D Guess we are all going to be smiling soon and it's from MO office too

I think the process is getting really fast now

Best of luck to us all

Snap - I've got my FP appointment for the 18th April too, it's for my I-485. My DO is the Indianapolis office. Last time I went for my FP for my I-765, there was only 2 other customers in there and I was in and out within 10 minutes..such a difference from the New York office. =o)

Cool, you are an LA dude too, right? :D I think they are making it faster now to get ready for the 11 Millions Illegals, can't believe it might happen. Good luck to all.

What is your story? Have been in NYC before Indianapolis?

Wow, that is really fast you guys. My ND is 29th March, but I haven't heard anything yet. Which is totally normal I think. But now I read about you guys, I can't help getting nervous.
Also, I thought that the DOs don't have anything to do with EADs anymore. I thought it's all NBC now.
My DO is Denver. And the processing dates on the website are a little bit intimidating. Wish there was someone else from Denver here, so we could compare...

My story is a long troubling one, I actually filed my I-485 back in September 2002 for marriage to USC wife (NYC DO). I didn't get any official notice until November 2003 (I think we call that ND on this forum) by the way the NYC DO back then was scary, thousands of people lining up outside everyday.

But as I've also read on this forum with someone else, my wife became increasingly jealous of my new found freedom when I got my work card. Well anyway I started to receieve FP appointmets for my I-485 but the marriage was deteriorating at a rapid rate. We were going to split up and probably get a divorce eventually and it was a real difficult time. My wife admitted not really loving me anymore. She also said she didn't really want a life with me and wanted to go back to school instead.

I had been talking to a girl in Indiana who was a good friend of mine, well we fell in love with each other over time. So I filed for divorce from my wife and eventually remarried and Im now very happy. I refiled just recently (Indianapolis DO) and we have our fingers crossed, I know how it looks on paper..but Im only human.

Hope that wasn't too long of a boring story..but you did ask :D

Does anyone know if the FP appointments show up on the online case status? :)

The online status in our case has been working perfectly well... but we didn't see any status change for the FP appointment. From this, I could only assume that FP appointment doesn't reflects in the online status.

I thought that NBC is processing all I-485 based EADs now.
If the DOs have something to do with it, I'm in trouble: The processing dates for EADs in Denver are frightening, there are processing September 2005 right now.
My ND is Mar 29, so I wasn't worried at all, but now I kinda am. :(
Do or don't the DOs process EADs?

Patty, You are right. EAD is processed by the NBC and you should look at the NBC's timelines.

You should look at your DO only for your I-485 processing.
Dont worry, you should have your EAD before end of June :)

Phew! Thanks Ari. Made my day again! :D

Well, it pays to be a pessimist. You are either constantly proven right or you are genuinely surprised :)

But that works for optimists, too, you know. Just, to be constantly proven right would feel much better as an optimist. Only the surprises probably wouldn't be very nice... :D

Then why is there a timeline for the EAD under the Harford DO? When does that one apply? So I shouldn't go by that one?
