Yellow Letter

I got a yellow letter but it is an interview letter, it says"this is not an interview notice" with subject: a pre-interview case review stating Prior to forwarding your case for interview. USCIS recommends you bring the following documents to your interview "State-issued driver's letter"
Has anyone gotten this type of letter before ?
 
Not everyone gets it. This is a system / computer driven letter which picks out relevant documentation to bring based on what you enter on the form. Many a times the officers do not even care for it, but some do. It is a helpful checklist of what warning areas were spotted during pre-processing. I guess you need to bring "state issued DL" rather than "state issued driver LETTER". This likely happened if you changed addresses recently (or too many times), or if there is some inconsistencies in terms of your addresses ... but half the time it could be nothing.
 
Almost could apply to over 80% too which is true. Most of the time anyone who applies under the 5 year rule gets a yellow letter due to the fact that they mention a DL at some point on the application. Even if they don't have a DL, they're asked for a state ID to prove the residency requirements. I can't drag this any further. Feel free to work on it bhai sahab.
 
My original comment was not in response to you, but an elaboration which I presume provided enough context for the OP. Sorry it took the wrong turn.

How many days after the yellow letter did you get the interview letter? I am presuming that by now you know your interview schedule by now. I got the same yellow letter today - trying to figure out dates for my interview.
