Gurus of I-485, Just wanted to share this information with you. Yesterday I checked my case status and heard magical words "This Case is Approved!!!". I am thankful to all of you for sharing information.

I have mostly been silent surfer to this site. I however found it very helpful. Also Immitracker was also a very useful site.

Following are my details

PD 04/99
RD 11/16/2000
ND 12/05/2000
FP 03/2001
AD 12/04/2001

My wife\'s case too was approved. Along with my FP notice, i got Yellow form which i sent to INS with employer letter. For Birth certificates, I have given 2 Affidavits.

Those waiting for approval, Just hang in there. One day you will also hear the exciting news.

Do we have to send letter from employer aling with FP

Hi Man,

Do we have to send letter from emlpyer again along with FP document.
Can we get FP done any where or only from the place mentioned in the FP notice. Give me some details please.
I have applied for 485 in Nov. What else needs to be sent to INS down the line. I appreciate your informatoin.

The FP notice that you will get will tell you which excat place you need to go. My FP notice initially came to my employers attorney who intern forwarded the same to me along with employement letter.

After FP, i sent yellow form back to INS along with employer letter.
(In the yellow form, there was one item which says employer verification letter)

My process is in NSC and works in VSC area. I would like to go for FP in Boston, thought I still maintain address in NSC area. Is that possible. What Boston INS will say if I go for FP.

First of all either you or your employer needs or should have inform to INS about change of address.
If this is done, then whenever you get Fp notice, it will give you your nearest INS FP center address.

My case is similar to yours, my 485 is filed in Nebraska but i work in phoenix. At the time of FP, i went to Local INS FP center. The moment i changed my address, i have informed to INS and my employer.
 
What meant by Yellow form??

Recently I received FP notice. But I didn\'t get any other forms along with the notice. Can some one explain to me please!!!

Yellow form is not an actual RFE but sometimes they issue along with FP notice for the need to have employement verification.
