Thanks! Did you mean I-751?

By the way, is the name printed on my green card going to include my husband's last name or not?

(I didn't put my husband's last name on the AOS application though - 'coz I wanna keep all my legal documents having the exact same name)

CONGRATULATIONSSSSS... hearing all these horror tales about pending FBI name check... it sounds so relieving to know that your's got cleared in 26 days :)

As for your husband's last name on the card is concerned... I doubt that. It would carry the name that you used in your documents filed with USCIS.

Congrats once again.

Congratulations! I second a_usc's comments...good to see that at least one of us with pending fbi namecheck got cleared so quickly!

Good to know!!! congrats!!! This is a hope for many people on FBI name check!

Jhawilla, this is a family based immigration forum.

Good luck,

Congrats once again.

Her name check didn't get cleared in 26 days, it was cleared in 26 days + whatever time it took for her to get an interview, which is at best 2-3 months.

Just wanted to clear that :)

And princesskate, I still say you'll be holding the actual card in 7-8 days (that is 11-12 days from the day you said your I-130 was approved). :)

Congrats, I am really happy for you. Enjoy your new status.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Mailed I-130, I-485 and I-765 beginning of Sept 05.
RD Sept 9th 2005
ND Sept 14th 2005
Fingerprint notices 10/20/05
FP and Biometrics done on 11/30/05 although they gave me two separate appointment dates for the I-765 and the I-485.
LUD on 12/02/05 about EAD approval
Received EAD on 12/7/05.
AOS interview on 03/08/06
GC APPROVED. :D :D :D

Congrats! I had my AOS interview almost 3 weeks after yours and same thing happened to me - Pending name check. I hope my name will get cleared as fast as yours did :D

One question though, in your signature it says I-130 Approved. What does that mean? I mean I had my interview and all, and I got my EAD and Travel Parole, but when I check I-130 status it is still the same old message (we received your application bla bla bla). Doesn't the I-130 get approved when the namecheck results come in (along with the I-485?)

What is the rule on when one can apply for citizenship? I read on CIS website it's 3 years based on marriage to USC. Is it 3 years from marriage date or from approved I-485? Thanks!
