Changed locations from NJ to Virginia, Virginia to Phoenix and now
Phoenix to Chicago. Never changed the address. Changed job after 8 months of filing I-485.
called INS twice on 22 July(when she said case has not been assigned) and on 16th August(when he was very upset that why did I called again and suggested to wait for 30 more working days as the case was not yet assigned)

I am not a RUPNET follower so never had any info on that site.

Hello Nimbak,

Congrats ! on your approval. My Rd is 10/18/2001. I was also in NJ earlier and have moved to chicago on my work. But, i have not ahcnged my address at all. I still use my old address in NJ. so, now, are you going to get your passport stamped at the chicago INS or you are planning to go to NJ INS to get stamped.

Please let me know . I am kind of guessing , what to do , after my case gets approved ! Infact, i had my finger print done in chicago.so , i am thinking , i can also have my PP stamped in chicago. Please also tell me, where is this INS stamping office in chicago.

by the way, i spoke to IIO this morning . She told me that it takes alomst 1 year from the RD date of the application to approve the case. she told me that we can expect our approval before oct 2nd week. she also told not to extend the EAD .
