It was a pleasent surprise to come home this afternoon and open the mail to find an approval notice for my EB3 (Labor Substitution), I485 approval.

It just feels awesome to be out of the frustrating period.

I140 ND: June 8th 2002
I140 RFE: August ??. 2003 (Education and Experience - I have a 3 yr B.Sc)
I140 Approval: December 14th, 2003

I485 ND: November 13th 2002
EAD1: December 24th 2002
EAD2: December 22nd 2003
I485 Approval: April 1st 2004

The application for my wife has also been approved on the same date.

congrats. What's your FP date ? My I485 notice date is just 2 days ahead of your's. My FP expired yesterday. Did your online message change ?

Our first FP was January 14th, 2003.

When I went in to renew my EAD at the local BCIS office, they fingerprinted me and my wife (this was in October 2003). We did not receive any second FP notice.

This is awesome!!! Approval for Nov 2002 received date ... looks like USCIS is touching cases over a long range. Hope it's really speeding up.
